Practically since its inception Razzett tal-Hbiberija has enjoyed the support of the Lions Club Sliema. To provide the necessary funds for Razzett each year in the summer a Spare Ribs Night, barbecue, is organised and served by the members of the Lions Club Sliema at the grounds of Razzett. Proceeds go towards supporting the activities of Razzett.

As Razzett and the Eden foundation have merged into Inspire last year the proceeds of the Lions Club activities now go towards the activities of Inspire. At a simple ceremony at the Victoria Hotel in Sliema, the President of Lions Club Sliema Dr. Alphonse L. MacDonald, accompanied by the Club’s treasurer Mr. Joseph Messina, recently presented a cheque representing the 2009 donation of the Club to the Chief Executive Officer of Inspire, Mr. Nathan Farrugia.
