Responsibilities of the International Committee

The International Committee serves as the vital link between our club and foreign clubs. Its primary role is to strengthen relationships with our twinned clubs. The committee ensures that our international networks remain active, collaborative, and mutually beneficial.

A core role of the committee is managing inbound international visits. This includes welcoming and hosting foreign club members to our island. The committee is responsible for arranging cultural entertainment and providing warm hospitality, ensuring our guests experience the very best of our local culture while fostering deep goodwill.

The committee also plans and organises visits abroad. These international trips are organised to celebrate long-standing friendships and engage in collaborative humanitarian projects with our foreign counterparts.

Finally, the committee encourages members’ participation in international Lions conventions throughout the year and provides all the necessary relevant information.
