On Saturday morning 13 March, the group and other Lions who came to Gozo especially for the occasion, participated in the 2009 Lions International Peace Poster Contest Award Ceremony at the Banca Giuratale in Victoria, Gozo, see Award ceremony.

In the evening, the group socialised at a well attended and successful dinner and flamenco show, “An Evening in Spring” organised by the Gozo CCU, a voluntary organisation whose activities are supported by the Club.

On Sunday morning 14 March 2010 the group attended Mass at St. Anthony Convent in Mgarr where 1st Vice President Alfred Micallef presented the Church with a relic, donated by Club Member Lion Anthony J. Abela Medici, of St. George Preca, the first Maltese Saint. This was greatly appreciated by the congregation.
