BEREAVEMENT – LION SECRETARY JOE CARUANA

The untimely death of Lions Club Sliema Secretary Joe Caruana has filled the Maltese Lions community with sorrow.

Lion Joe passed away after a short illness on Saturday April 24. He leaves to mourn his immense loss his wife Josephine (member of Lions Club Mdina) his daughter Roberta and his two sons Nicholas and Joseph.

Lion Joe served Lions Club Sliema as President and for the last 12 years as Club Secretary. Moreover he acted as Lions Malta Zone Secretary for the last two years.

Joe was a hardworking Lion who was always ready to fulfil whatever duties he was entrusted with. All Lions in Malta will sadly miss him.
